BYU vs. UNLV football game

Since Scott and I live only 7 blocks from BYU campus we FINALLY decided to get tickets to a BYU football game! It was so much fun, and even though I feel like a trader now.....It was worth every second. Scott is a HUGE football fan too and made the game even more fun. :) The best thing about this game was that it was a nail-biter right to the end. BYU was victorious, and we can't wait until this weekend to watch yet another BYU football game!

Later on that Saturday night Scott's friend Mark was playing in "Battle of the Bands" on campus. We went to listen, and I must admit I was surprised how good they were. Here is a picture of his friend Mark playing the guitar and then a picture of us at the concert.

My Significant Other

First of all I would just like to say........ISN'T HE HANDSOME? I saw this super cute survey that my sis-in-law Kim did about my brother and I thought that I would copy her. (Hope you don't mind Kim)

His Name: Ryan Scott Smith

How long have you been married? Ha Ha, almost 2 months! :)

How long did you date? We dated for 5 months and were engaged for 3 months before we got married. :) Pretty quick, huh? In my defense I had waited a VERY LONG TIME to meet Mr. right and trust me..........I knew him when I saw him! :)

How old is he? He is 27......a whole 22 days older than me!

Who eats more? I would say that he does. He loves that I don't eat as much because he can ALWAYS eat my leftovers.

Who said "I love you" first? He did, however I did almost say it once and said "I L..Adore you"! It has become quite the joke between us.

Who is taller? Scott is at 6'4"! Yet another reason that I found him so irresistible.

Who sings better? Tough call......Scott has a lovely voice, I would have to say him.

Who is smarter? Scott BY FAR!!! You should see this boy study! All I know is that if I would have studied that hard with my first degree.......I prob. would be a M.D. instead of a nurse. :) lol

Whose temper is worse? Well I would say that we have pretty equal tempers. If one fires up, the other one is right behind......luckily that doesn't happen very often. I think that we are both still learning about each others boundaries.

Who does the laundry? We both do! I have been told that this will fade shortly after marriage. lol I guess you could say that I am going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Who does the dishes? I do! Scott cooks and I clean. I think that I got the better end of the deal however. I am not a fan of cooking!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do.

Who pays the bills? I do.

Who mows the lawn? LOL that would be assuming that we actually had a lawn to mow. :) Oh you have to love apt. complexes!

Who cooks dinner? My fabulous husband! I just adore him!

Who drives when you are together? Scott mostly, but I drive when he has to study (you know, on those long road trips to Idaho).

Who is more stubborn? We both can be

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Me. I like to get the fight over with and move on with our lives.

Whose parents do you see the most? Well I would say mine by far, however now that they moved to Montana it is going to be a lot more equal in the future.

Who has more friends? I would have to say me. Scott has a lot of friends, but I think that I definitely take the cake on that one.

Who has more siblings? Scott, there are 6 kids in his family and only 5 kids in mine.

Who wears the pants in the family? Scott for sure.

First Timers..... :)

So Scott and I have been talking about setting up a blog for a while and here is my sorry attempt to keep up with the twenty first century. lol No promises that it will amaze you because lets be honest here........ I am not exactly a computer genius! :)

Married life is WONDERFUL! I have often thought since the impeccable day has came and gone, why did I not do this sooner? Scott was definitely worth waiting for! He is settling in well with school at BYU and has blown me out of the water with his diligent study habits. I am so proud of him and am so thankful for everything that he does for me. Not going to lie people......I truly do see a "happily ever after" for us! :)

I am working as an ICU nurse here in Utah, and absolutely love my job. Scott and I know that we have many more amazing times to come and hopefully (if I can remember to stay on top of this blog) we will be able to share many of them with you. :)

Here are some of our favorite engagement and wedding photos. Enjoy!
